5 Sundays of sewing, designing & making your own clothes.
This is more than a sewing class, it’s a mini fashion school.
Over five Sunday sessions, kids will learn the fundamentals of sewing while working through their own fashion projects from start to finish. They’ll learn how to use a sewing machine, understand fabric and patterns, and build the confidence to make things themselves.
Each week introduces a new skill and builds on what they learned the week before.
What they will learn:
✂️ How to confidently use a sewing machine
🧵 How to work with fabric, patterns and seams
📐 How to measure, cut and construct garments
🪡 Different sewing techniques and finishes
👗 How a garment comes together from an idea to a finished piece
✨ How to make creative decisions and put their own spin on their projects
And most importantly they’ll leave knowing “I made this myself.”
5 Sundays
10:00am – 12:30pm
All sewing machines, equipment and materials needed for the sessions are provided.
No previous sewing experience is required.
Please note: This is a 5-week series, so the booking covers all five sessions. Individual sessions cannot be booked separately.
